The Maintenance Retainer · Monthly
The frameworks don't decay evenly.
Positioning holds for a year. A competitive grid goes stale in a quarter. A battlecard is wrong the day a competitor changes their pricing page. Four of the six stages can maintain themselves; this is me keeping them pointed at the right things. Four weeks of work and ninety days of work go stale on the same schedule.

What moved this week
Someone has started saying your one different thing.
Most weeks this says nothing happened, and that is the point. This week isn't one of them.

Who this is for
Who this is for, and who it isn't.
This is for you if
- You've finished GTM Foundations or the Product Marketing Function build
- Your one product marketer has no time to re-run research
- You sell in a category where competitors move quarterly
- You'd rather find out about a competitor's price change from me than from a lost deal
This isn't for you if
- You want retained consulting or an hours bank. This is four automated jobs and my judgment on what came back.
- You haven't done Foundations or a build yet. There's nothing to keep current.
- You're a single-product company in your first six months. Most of you don't need it, and I'll tell you if you're one of them.

FOUR JOBS ON A SCHEDULE. NOT AN HOURS BANK.

The Fifty is re-sourced end to end, and the Half-Life Map is brought current.

This is the last rung. Not sure it's the one you need?
Straight answers
Straight answers.
Is this retained consulting?
No. It's four automated jobs plus my judgment on what they turn up. It isn't an hours bank, and it can't be spent on something else.
Do I need it?
Most single-product companies don't, for the first six months after a build. I'd rather tell you that than sell it.
What if nothing changes in a month?
Then the report says nothing changed. That's most weeks, and it's the point, you find out from me rather than from a lost deal.
